Others may have had a better experience with a low watt amp. With a Schiit Vidar 100w amp the speakers opened up and are now great to listen to.

#ELAC DEBUT REFERENCE SPECS SERIES#
This floor standing loudspeaker in the all-new ELAC Reference series is based on the popular Debut series. Product highlights: 1 cloth dome tweeter with newly designed waveguide for smooth, accurate highs and extended high-frequency response 6-1/2 aramid fiber. I can't really decide and don't have any place close to audition them. The ELAC Debut Reference DFR52 is a 3-way bass reflex speaker. The ELAC Debut 2.0 B6.2 Bookshelf Speakers. Very good measurements, going by measurements of DBR62 Audio system: Yamaha RX-A700, Streem FS-808, Jamo A 804, Polk RT50, Panasonic DP-UB820, Fire TV 4k, Roku Ultra, Yamaha WXA-50. Before choosing between Elac and Triangle you need to go listening to them. Triangle has a custom design for the tweeter. Impedance: min +-2ohm / average 6 ohm (more difficult) Triangle is an old speaker brand that has a very good reputation for its speaker.

Pretty good measurements, going by measurements of BRO3 and BRO8 Impedance: min 3.3ohm / average 8ohm (easier to drive) FQ: 35Hz - 22 KHz (could go without a sub) The question remains though: French or German? First I was thinking the Klipsch RP-8000F, but because I am from Belgium I would actually prefer a European brand (smaller cabinet).

The only thing I can not come to a conclusion to is the speakers. (I had a Luxman amp + Marantz speakers when I was a kid, from an uncle in the music business) I have decided to build myself a stereo/double Hypex NC400 and probably use one of the new Denon AVR's or Topping E30 as a source. Hi, I am new here and I am planning on getting my first stereo system in 15 years.
